This dynamic and energetic business is looking for a professional Senior Sales Executive with an existing network in the Eventing Industry, to join their team and take the lead in growing the business.
The successful candidate will need to have 5-10 years in Events and Sales, be well presented, confident, genuine, and be very comfortable with technology. The main aim for this person will be to maintain and increase the business, to drive growth and achieve sales goals.
Job Type: Permanent position, after successful completion of an agreed probationary period.
Nature of the business: RSVP Platform & Mobile Apps for the Events industry in South Africa & Globally
Start: August/September 2017
Own transport & valid drivers licence required
Mandatory Requirements:
• Matric or equivalent
• Relevant tertiary education and courses
• Existing & Current network in the Events industry in South Africa and/or globally
• Initiative & a Self-Starter who can take responsibility of the sales in the company • Proven track record of sales success
• Excellent communication skills
Advantages:

• Marketing or Business Degree is beneficial
Main responsibilities:
• To increase & maintain business & to drive growth through additional revenue.
• To help motivate and guide other sales staff to achieve sales goals
• To Submit monthly reporting & be accountable to the CEO of the company
• To assist with project planning to ensure client satisfaction
• To handover successful sales to the Client Service Liason to continue relationships and ensure maintenance.
• Meeting quarterly sales targets
• To put together Client case studies post events & update all Admin & CRMs when necessary
• To ensure there is clear positioning of the brand to consumers & in the market in general

• A team player of sober habits with good interpersonal skills
• Come across as a genuine person, with great conversational skills
• Self-motivated and prepared to put in extra effort when required
• Respectful, honest, transparent and open individual
• Continuous learning attitude
• Someone who takes responsibility for their role, is independant and takes initiative
• Be a self-starter, solution oriented, internally motivated & goal driven
Reporting structure: This business has a flat management structure and hands-on management. Direct reporting will be to the CEO, but there is high involvement from everyone in this dynamic business.
Salary package: R35 000 – R45 000 CTC (Neg) per month PLUS COMMISSION
Annual leave arrangements for this position will need to be aligned to company requirements.
Note: Shortlisted candidates may be expected partake in vocational/psychometric testing as well as the standard criminal checks.
